Al-Atta Organization for cooperation and development is a non-profit organization founded in 2013 under the name(1993), with its headquarters in Tripoli and its sub-headquarters in the central region of Bani Walid in Libya. We are specialized in cooperating with national and international agencies to provide services including: awareness, needs assessment, assistance, emergency response and training courses in the field of humanitarian action. We are a specialized team consisting of qualified and experienced management and consultants, we aspire to provide high quality services in the field of humanitarian assistance. The team has extensive experience in humanitarian work in general and in emergency responses throughout Libya since 2013. We also have an extensive network of experienced trainers who design and coordinate capacity building and self-reliance programmes , including microenterprises.

Goals
  • Assume the responsibility and participate in social development pro-grams and operations for the reconstruction of the state of Libya.
  • Awareness and commitment to the values of tolerance, human rights and the importance of contrast and differences between human beings to ensure the sovereignty of the assimilation, the transparency and the culture of cooperation.
  • Contribute to control and regulate illegal immigration giving that the state of Libya is a transit country and its land and maritime borders witnessed infiltrations into Europe.
  • Establish the activities and programs for rehabilitation and adjustment values and social harmony which target the wounded victims of war and families of martyrs and missing persons in cooperation with the relevant bodies.
  • Conduct studies and scientific research targeting the phenomenon resulted by situations of war, asylum and migration.
Activities
  • Assisting internally displaced persons with coordination with international organizations.
  • Legal assistance for the department of combatting illegal migration in dealing with illegal immigrants and asylum seekers
  • Support and assistance in maintenance of detention centers.
  • To distribute aid to displaced people in coordination with the Libyan Humanitarian relief agency and United Nations Organizations.
  • Set up activities for displaced children and immigrants in coordinate with international organizations 6.coordinate with the department of combatting illegal migration and the International organization for migration to assist migrants to return to their country of origin (voluntary return).
  • Help and coordination with the state and the United Nations high commissioner for refugees for the resettlement of refugees in a third country outside Libya (durable solutions program).
